Playing Petanque in Paris

Description

When in Paris, do as the Parisians do: the best way to get to know a city is to mingle with the locals and to try some of their favorite activities. This is why we pick petanque, probably the most French of all sports. And since this is, after all, Paris „our fine city”, we will have plenty of spectacular locations to choose from where we can play:

• on the Champs de Mars, with the Eiffel Tower overlooking our shoulder
• in the Jardin des Tuileries, close to the Louvre
• in the Jardin du Luxembourg, near the Panthéon
• or on the magical Place des Vosges, in the Marais quarter
